NEUMANN MONSON ARCHITECTS

Kirkwood Community College, Recreation Center

The one story building is constructed primarily of precast concrete, metal panels and a high performance glazing system. The 44,000 sf facility houses a 200 meter running track with three basketball courts in the center. A cardio-vascular and weight training area infill either end of the track. All functions of the facility can be monitored from the control desk, minimizing staff requirements.
