NEUMANN MONSON ARCHITECTS

A diverse client set keeps us constantly learning, as each client requires us to apply our imaginations differently.

Intern Architect

My parents have made me the person that I am today. I appreciate the sacrifices they undertook to create opportunities for me. They taught me to be grateful and patient, and to leave this world a better place. I see that philosophy reflected in my colleagues here at Neumann Monson, who are eager to think holistically and design with social and environmental awareness. Inclusive thought leads to productive partnerships; symbiotic learning relationships in which client and architect depend on each other to create. A diverse client set keeps us constantly learning, as each client requires us to apply our imaginations differently.

What do you do in your spare time?

I follow economic and political commentary closely, I attend live events from concerts to comedy, and I’m also a big movie enthusiast, from animations to thrillers.

Why architecture?

A question that I’m continuously pondering. Architecture encourages us to imagine in a way that lays the groundwork for action, engagement, and cultural movement.

What makes Iowa unique?

Iowa is beautiful in many ways, from its running-for-ever agricultural fields to its rapidly-developing urban streetscapes. Iowa’s people are the kindest and hardest working.
