Attention A/E/C professionals: Are you attending the AIA Iowa Fall Convention in Des Moines? Join us on Friday, Sept. 21st, to hear NM’s own Eric Neuhaus and Cheung Chan present a course on dowel laminated timber (DLT) building systems. The course aims to demonstrate the properties of mass timber, it’s environmental characteristics and a comparison to other building materials. The design and construction process will be presented through a case study featuring the 111 East Grand Avenue project, currently under construction in Des Moines’ East Village. This course qualifies for AIA continuing education credits.
