...and makes us nicer.
Sketching was my creative outlet as a youngster and I’ve known design was my calling since my first interior design course. Interior architecture and environmental graphics are my tools to positively shape the world around me, one building at a time. To share that empowerment I support continuing education for the profession, as the Vice President of Professional Development for the International Interior Design Association [IIDA] Great Plains Chapter. Recently our chapter established the Great Plains Chapter Design Education Fund, which supports member participation in education and research activities within Interior Design.

What makes Iowa unique?
Iowans are tied to the land. We were raised on farms or grew up with an appreciation of their importance and beauty. We are outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. A deep connection to this land keeps us grounded…and makes us nicer.
