GreenState Credit Union, Jordan Creek

As one of the first buildings to be completed in the Jordan West development, the design of this community credit union balances prescribed material requirements with an architectural simplicity to make a quiet, yet singular statement.

Exterior materials include platinum-toned limestone and recycled wood composite panels. Given the orientation of the building, care was taken to provide appropriate solar control to both the public and private areas. Stainless steel vertical fins on the east and west sides of the building reduce the harsh morning and afternoon sun. These fins are coupled with translucent insulated sidelights to maximize usable daylight. The main lobby of the building is also surrounded by a clerestory of similar translucent glazing to usher soft daylight into the space.
