Neumann Monson's Matt Krieger Recognized in Forty Under 40

Congratulations to Neumann Monson architect Matt Krieger on being named a Corridor Business Journal Forty Under 40 honoree. For the 16th year running, the CBJ celebrated 40 of the Corridor’s most suc­cessful young profes­sionals who have made a significant impact in their business and community. The 40 recipients were selected by a com­mittee of previous honorees.

Be good at what you enjoy doing.

What do you consider your biggest break so far?
Landing a job at Neumann Monson

What would most people be surprised to learn about you?
I love to dance. I took dance lessons (ballet, tap, jazz, acrobats) for 10 years as a kid and started taking adult tap lessons again at Nolte Academy.

What’s the biggest issue facing the Corridor, and why?
Climate change, which is putting pressure on our economy and our communities.

If you had $1 million to give, what causes would you support?
Climate action, homelessness and food insecurity.

What are your passions outside of the workplace?
Environmentalism – climate action, educating others about sustainability, and enjoying nature. I also enjoy the arts.

What should people know about your generation in the workplace?
We’re ambitious and we’re doers. We want to make an impact on our communities. Don’t hold us back.

What do you want to accomplish by the time you are 50?
Successfully raise my kids, help my community achieve its 2030 Climate Action goals, and continue learning and innovating to make positive contributions to my profession.
