In this role, he will help establish and implement the strategic plan for AIA Iowa and support the ongoing work of the committees. He previously served on AIA Iowa’s convention planning committee and the awards celebration committee.
Brian is a project manager and shareholder in the firm. He has led work on several project types with varying scales, from educational facilities, renovations, adaptive reuse, corporate offices, parking facilities, and state and federal projects such as the Federal Courthouse for the Southern District of Iowa.
Outside of his professional design work, he has been involved with the Iowa Architectural Foundation, engaging architectural enthusiasts through architectural tours in Des Moines. He is also co-teaching a studio at Iowa State University, mentoring future AIA members, and learning about the many challenges facing young architects.
