When I’m creating, I’m always thinking about the audience and what I can do to bring them joy. Genuine, earnest work is extremely valuable, so I make sure everything I create is something I’d enjoy myself. I studied Cinematic Arts and Creative Writing at The University of Iowa and after graduation, I worked as a production Coordinator/Motion Graphic Designer for Iowa Athletics. During that time, I got the opportunity to create digital content, including coverage of Caitlin Clark’s jersey retirement and the Indiana Fever’s preseason game - talk about a highlight!
Whether it’s Bob Dylan’s unique voice or Napoleon Dynamite’s awkward dancing, I’m inspired by novel avenues for expression. I’m driven to create projects that share my perspective in a fun and original way, just like my favorite artists.
When I’m working on a project, I think about how others might experience it for the first time. Even if I know the project inside and out, imagining it through fresh eyes helps me find ways to elevate that crucial first impression.
I’m excited about where we’re headed with our media presence. There’s great potential to shape our architectural content in a way that’s both engaging and educational. I’m also excited about collaborating with the rest of the team to produce content that highlights our diverse knowledge base.
