The building accommodates all administrative functions in one location to support all branch offices and associated staff. The North Liberty location is strategic for the credit union’s existing locations and supports their expansion into the Cedar Rapids market.
The highly visible 24-acre site slopes gently from the NW to the SE toward detention pond. Walking trails will eventually be incorporated into the natural prairie of the site and will intersect with the larger Johnson County trail system. A water feature to the north of the building helps to punctuate the entrance. An outdoor patio and deck is available to all staff.
The first level houses a large cafeteria which will also be used for corporate meetings. It can seat 200 people banquet style or 400 people for meeting style set up. A catering kitchen supports this space which is available for community use. The first level also incorporates a fully functioning branch bank with three drive-up teller lanes. The second, third, and fourth levels accommodate corporate functions and are accessed through a security system.
