We all deserve to be in spaces that nurture physical and mental health

My work is guided by the mindset that all project stakeholders are design partners with diverse experiences to contribute. With an appreciation for the ordinary and an eye for the un-ordinary, I observe and build connections between people, constructed and natural environments, and the systems that hold us all.

This perspective of interconnectedness translates to the creation of meaningful, layered experiences that prioritize ecological care and collective community.

Why interior design?

I work as an interior designer because we all deserve to be in spaces that nurture physical and mental health, spark delight, and are inclusive of who we are as individuals and communities. In this role, I get to leverage creative problem-solving and research skills in an empathetic and creative context.

If you could invite 3 people - living or dead - to dinner, who would you invite?

I’m going to take some creative liberties on this one… For dinner one, I would invite my grandmas and their sisters, whom I was never able to meet. For dinner two, I would invite Viv Miedema, Lotte Wubben-Moy, and Leah Williamson. I would be starstruck and need a co-host.

What do you do in your spare time?

I love cooking! Fresh pasta sauce and lemon olive oil cake are my specialties. I also enjoy spending time with my dear ones, growing flowers, doing pilates, and watching soccer, specifically MN United FC and Arsenal Women.
