St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, Ankeny, has received a 2019 Faith & Form/AIA Interfaith Design (ID) Knowledge Community Award in the religious architecture – new facilities category. The program encourages and supports excellence in the design of worship spaces and their accoutrements. More than 100 projects were submitted with nearly one-third located outside the United States. Jurors noted that some of the best projects were modest in scale and budget and displayed sensitivity to their local cultural, historical, and social context. Awarded projects were published in the Winter 2019 Awards Issue of Faith & Form magazine and can be viewed on the Faith and Form website.
Congratulations to St. Luke the Evangelist and all of our partners!
