The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Iowa Chapter recognized two projects designed by Neumann Monson with Impact Awards during the annual spring conference on Thursday, April 18th, in Ames. This was the inaugural year of the Impact Awards program that recognizes architectural projects that are specifically designed to directly benefit social, humanitarian, community or environmental causes.
Only four projects were selected to receive awards. An Honor Award, the highest designation, was given to CrossPark Place in Iowa City and the renovation of Fort Des Moines received a Merit Award. Read more about each of these projects under the residential categories of our site.
