Associate principal and architect, Lyndley Kent, AIA, has been appointed to the 2023 National AIA Committee on the Environment Leadership Group (COTE LG).  

The Iowa Architectural Foundation (IAF) has announced Neumann Monson Architects as its 2022 Firm of the Year.

Nathan Griffith has been elected to serve a one-year term as Chair of the Iowa Architectural Foundation (IAF). 

Neumann Monson has been honored with multiple awards from Zweig Group, the leading research, publishing, and advisory resource for architecture, engineering, construction, and (AEC) firms.

Kevin Monson, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Neumann Monson Architects, has been honored by Iowa State University’s (ISU) College of Design with the Christian Petersen Design Award.

For the second year running, team members from our Iowa City studio participated in Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa’s Career Inspire event in Cedar Rapids.

The Iowa Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) honored Neumann Monson Principal Channing Swanson, AIA, with the 2022 AIA Iowa Medal of Honor. Channing was formally recognized during an awards ceremony of the annual AIA Iowa convention.

Congratulations to NM’ers Alyanna Subayno (and team) for placing 1st and Danny Cryer for placing 3rd in the AIA Iowa Emerging Professionals (EP) Competition! The EP Competition provides an opportunity for young professionals to share and receive exposure for a side project. Submissions may include built or unbuilt projects, design sketches, renderings, models, photography, painting, and video.
