In June 2023, the Stanley Center for Peace and Security opened its new headquarters in Muscatine, Iowa. The project is tracking to achieve a full Living Building Certification, making it one of 36 buildings and the second renovation project to achieve this title.

In August 2023, the Iowa Conservatory will open its doors to students. The performing arts school, located in Iowa City’s Northside neighborhood, will offer unique educational paths for high-school students to expand their creative interests.

Last month, the Stanley Center for Peace and Security opened its new headquarters to the public. The completed building in downtown Muscatine is designed to meet the standards of the Living Building Challenge (LBC)—the most rigorous measure of sustainable design.
