Intern Architect

Brandon Fettes

Relevant architecture is a harmony of artistic finesse, mechanical process, and human intuition.

I was drawn to Neumann Monson because not only do we have high aspirations and a distinctive sensibility, but we consistently demonstrate our value. We walk the walk. The clients we attract require that level of commitment and their engagement allows us to push beyond conventional solutions. Relevant architecture is a harmony of artistic finesse, mechanical process, and human intuition. Getting things ‘just so’ takes a bit of grit and perfectionism; it requires intuitive principles backed by hardy research and technology.

If you could invite any 3 people--living or dead--to dinner, who would you invite?

I would choose Jorge Borges, Lao Tzu, and Antonio Gaudi.

What makes Iowa unique?

Iowa is unique because it confidently identifies itself as rural and establishes a standard of life through quality rather than quantity.
